Shadowbox Fun

Hi everyone,

Today I'm showing you a shadowbox that I did for my daughter's room. It turned out really well, much better than I had anticipated.

I had bought the shadowbox at Pottery Barn about six years ago and didn't know what to do with it until finally I sat down and just started playing around. The first thing I did was paint it as it was originally white. I used the Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paints and used her colour chart to get the colour I wanted. I'm so happy with the result.

I'm finally starting to get some projects done that have been laying around for some time and in the next few days I'll be posting those as well.

Now, it's back to our regularly scheduled laundry ...

Happy crafting!

Leaving this message on your blog, too, to make sure you receive it...
Hi Christine,
Yes, by all means drop your cards off to me directly. That makes way more sense than spending money on postage, and considering the threatened Canada Post strike...
My address is 11 des Oblats Ave, Unit #112, K1S 5V8. It's in Old Ottawa East, off Main Street and close to Immaculata High School and St. Paul's University. I am home most evenings, and my son is home most days, so if you want to set up a day/time for delivery, I can make sure one of us is home to receive your cards.
Thank you for your support of the drive!
Caroline
